Solid wastes that cannot be recycled as a result of the processing of municipal solid wastes are stored in our facilities designed for long-term storage without harming the environment. Our Class I (Hazardous Waste Landfill) and Class II (Municipal Waste and Non-Hazardous Waste Landfill) sites are operated in accordance with national and international standards.
Landfill activities are carried out for hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in our lot sites specially created for the management of industrial wastes generated by public institutions, organizations and industrial facilities. These activities ensure that waste is safely monitored, stored and controlled.
Our storage capacity is planned as 970,078 m³ in Lot 1, 1,240,929 m³ in Lot 2, and 6,425,728 m³ in Lot 3. The total capacity of these three lots is 7,636,735 m³, meeting the need for a large amount of waste storage. In addition, in order to meet future waste storage needs, we are working on new Lot 4, Lot 5 and Lot 6 with a capacity of approximately 10,000,000 m³ and the design and allocation stages are ongoing. These new sites are being developed in a way to minimize environmental impacts.
